Large Chromalight hour markers and Mercedes-style hands glow with a long-lasting blue luminescence, ensuring readability in all conditions. The additional red 24-hour hand enables the display of a second time zone, while the date window at 3 o’clock is magnified by Rolex’s signature Cyclops lens.

Movement
At its core, the watch is powered by the Rolex Caliber 3186 (later models transitioned to 3285), a self-winding mechanical movement entirely developed and manufactured in-house. It incorporates a Parachrom hairspring for enhanced shock resistance and magnetic stability, offering precision and reliability. The power reserve is approximately 48 hours.

The dial is protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment and a Cyclops magnifier over the date. The Oyster caseback is hermetically sealed to guarantee waterproofness.

Water Resistance
